Serving Ohio's Critical Power needs for 30+ years

Line-Interactive UPS

These UPSs regulate input utility voltage up or down as necessary before allowing it to pass through to protected equipment. However, like standby UPSs, they use their battery to guard against frequent abnormalities.
Each UPS uses a Power Ball to show the status of the unit.
Hover over the Power Ball graphics to learn what each status indicates:

Power Failure

A total loss of power

Power Sag

Short term low-voltage

Power Surge (Spike)

Short-term high voltage above 110% nominal

Undervoltage (Brownout)

Reduced line voltage for extended period of a few minutes to a few days

Overvoltage

Increased line voltage for extended period of a few minutes to a few days
